Overview

The church has a comprehensive youth work provision that provides a safe Christian environment for young people of all ages to have fun, make friends and learn the important truths of the Bible.

Senior Endeavourers

Ages: 11+ yrs (secondary school age)

'Seniors' is our club for secondary school age young people. Meetings are held each Sunday morning in the church building in Wilton Road between 9:45 and 10:45am, and fortnightly on Friday nights between 7:00 and 8:45pm for fun, games and occasional trips out. Apart from special trips out, there is no charge to attend, and free door-to-door minibus transport may be available if you live in the city.

Sunday School

Ages: 4-11 yrs (primary school age)

Sunday School takes children of primary school age and holds meetings each Sunday morning between 9:45 and 10:45am in the church's Grove House building in Wilton Road. Each fortnight on a Friday night between 6:30 and 7:30pm there is a fun evening held in the church building or a local park. There is no charge to attend, and free door-to-door minibus transport may be available if you live in the city.

Parent & Toddler Group

Ages: 0-5 yrs

Our youngest group is a warm and welcoming environment for parents to bring their pre-school age children along to. Meeting each Friday morning between 10:00 and 11:30am in the church building on Wilton Road, the group provides an informal setting where children can play and parents can share time together.

Child Protection

The safety and well being of the young people attending our groups is our highest priority. The groups operate under the oversight of Emmanuel Church, with all the leaders specially appointed from among the members of the Church. All are police checked.
